I was a naturally slim guy and could eat anything, but lots of times as you get older (25+, or 35+ sometimes) this changes. Also medications come into play as you get older, either meds that slow the metabolism or cause weight gain for some other reason. I've never been a fat guy but it's a lot harder to have the same thin waist or flat stomach.

Most guys I know who look fucking amazing need more than moderate working out. A lot of these guys work out 5 or 6 days a week.
