“I’m going back on tour and yes we will be together again very, very soon,” Jackson said in a video posted on Instagram. “I miss you guys so much and I can’t wait to see you. Our opening show is April 14 in Hollywood, Florida. I’m so excited.”

Tickets for the Together Again Tour go on sale on Tuesday (December 13) with a Citi card member and fan pre-sale at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. local show time. The general public will have their chance on Friday (December 16) at 11 a.m. local time on Live Nation’s website.

While the upcoming tour coincides with a series of anniversaries in Janet Jackson’s career — 30 years since the release of janet., 15 years since Discipline and her 50th year in the entertainment business — the 56-year-old Grammy-winner confirmed that new music is on the way and will be released and performed on the road.

“Yes, there will be new music,” she said. “I know all of you, ‘Where’s the new music?’ There will be new music and my special guest will be Ludacris.”
