The world woke up to the sudden demise of Bob Marley’s grandson, Jo Mersa Marley and it has thrown many reggae lovers into a state of shock as no one expected this, especially in this festive season.
Jo Mersa is one of Marley’s lineage who decided to walk in the footsteps and carry the legacy of their grandfather so he was widely recognized.
He made his way into the world on March 12th, 1991 in Kingston, Jamaica as the first child of his parents, and most of his early childhood was spent in the country.
With the aim of seeking quality education, Jo Mersa Marley relocated to Florida where he attended high school and pursued studio engineering at Miami Dade College.
Despite appearing very healthy he was also suffering from asthma and has been battling it all his life but unfortunately, he was attacked by it which lead to his death.
The reggae musician was found unresponsive in a vehicle in the United States of America as reports say he died on December 27, 2022, two days after Christmas.
Jo Mersa Marley died on Tuesdays at the age of 31 as a result of an Asthma attack.
