BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: A few weeks before his death, late 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry resided in a rented Beverly Hills hideaway with his Japanese aide, Kenny Iwamasa.
According to those close to the star, 59-year-old Iwamasa is alleged to have been the one who found Perry's motionless body in the hot tub at his recently renovated home on October 28.

Emergency personnel who responded to the home after receiving a report of a cardiac arrest discovered Perry dead in the jacuzzi of his lavish $6 million Pacific Palisades residence.

Perry shared the rental home with Iwamasa, an executive assistant who has managed Perry's business affairs for over 25 years, as per his page.
Iwamasa's LinkedIn bio reads: "Executive Assistant to personal manager responsibilities for 25 years (on-going) for client Matthew Perry ("Friends"; actor-writer-producer)."
On his profile, Iwamasa wrote: "I thrive in chaotic situations which call for order. I am discreet, loyal and honor absolute confidentiality... I love deadlines, contracts, dotting I's and solving puzzling situations and projects."
The Daily Mail further reported that Iwamasa was previously seen driving Perry, 54, around, doing errands, and departing the rental apartment.
According to a story at the time, Perry and Iwamasa were spotted shopping together at The Grove in Los Angeles, just two months before his untimely death and a few days after his 54th birthday.
Despite not having spoken to Iwamasa since the actor's death, a member of Iwamasa's Los Angeles-based family confirmed to the outlet that the assistant had been residing with Perry recently.
The residents of Chalette Drive were unaware that Perry had been there, although they occasionally saw his staff members, such as an assistant and housekeeper, arrive and go.
Matthew Perry was found dead by 'personal assistant'
In June 2022, perhaps when Perry moved in, the Beverly Hills property's rental listing was taken down. The actor has been frequently sighted at the residence since October 2022.
John Malakzad, the landlord of the Beverly Hills residence, claimed that Iwamasa was "an individual living with Perry and monitoring him."
Despite claiming never to have met Perry, Malakzad described the late actor as a "good tenant who moved out a couple of weeks ago."
Less than a month had passed since the 'Friends' actor had returned to his Pacific Palisades property to enjoy his renovations when "personal assistant" Iwamasa discovered him dead.
The house is now empty, and last week, mattresses and cushions were piled into outdoor trash cans in preparation for a new tenant.
A neighbor told the Daily Mail that the backyard with a pool and view was "one of the best in the city." The spacious light living area had polished floors and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.
Perry moved back into the Pacific Palisades house one month before he passed away. A source allegedly told that Perry was "incredibly happy" in his new house and even referred to it as "heaven."
